These games can be played online or downloaded. Some of the downloads (marked *) are installers; these are CD versions, and so also have an autorun program. Once unzipped, choosing autorun program (with a director icon: Director projector icon graphic ) will give you the option to either install content to your system (with uninstall available) or just run the program. Additionally, you can run the program by finding the appropriately named executable, or install it by finding the Install [program name] with the the installer icon graphic icon

Bomb Squad

An interactive arcade game illustrating arithmetical concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division at basic skills entry level one standard.

Use the arrow keys to drive the car around the city. Stop next to a building with a bomb, and you will automatically be presented with one of the cunning terrorist devices. Use your problem solving and mathematical skills to make the bomb safe. As you proceed through the ranks, you will be given more bombs to defuse, they will have shorter fuses, and may also be more tricky.

Cheese Factory

The idea of the game is to match the portions of cheese falling from the hopper, to create whole cheeses. When you have collected a stack of ten whole cheeses, you proceed to the next level.

You can choose how the portions of cheese are represented: as decimals, fractions or percentages. You can set the difficulty level - the frequency of falling cheese blobs, where only the numeric representation remains as a guide for matching. You can also set the speed at which the cheeses fall.

Shape Academy

You are a new recruit to the elite Shape Academy, and must pass through basic shape recognition training.

Sergeant Johnson will brief new recruits on the key attributes that the rookie will need to know about the 2 dimensional alien race and their 3 dimensional spacecraft.

Virtual Nightclub

You are out on the town and are looking for some conversation. Choose someone to talk to, and you will see a number of topics for conversation. Pick a topic, and the person will start to chat about it. You can repeat their comment with the button at the bottom.

Choose a reply from the three choices that the computer gives you. You can also listen to each of these by clicking the small loudspeaker next to each one.

If you answer sensibly, the person will carry on talking to you, becoming happier as the night goes on... they may even buy you a drink! However, if you don't seem to understand what the conversation is about, you will very quickly annoy the other person. Do it too often, and you won't have anyone left to talk to!

Rob the Mob

This is a cartoon style Quiz Game - topics include basic numeracy and spelling. You start the game with $1,000, the Mob has $10,000. Choose a topic and play your cards carefully.

Click anywhere to deal, click on your pile of dollars to choose a stake between $100 and $1,000. Click a card to select it and click it again to play it. You can change your mind and select a different card. You can change the amount that you want to risk any time before playing your chosen card.
